Self Branding
About
For my third-year module at the University of Westminster, I was tasked with creating a personal visual identity that could be applied across professional materials such as my résumé, letterhead, portfolio, and business cards.
The logo design is centred around the lowercase letter “m,” which serves as the primary visual element and directly references the initial of my first name. The typeface used, New Astro, was carefully chosen for its rounded and approachable design.
To personalise the design further, I incorporated a smiley face beneath the letterform. This detail holds significant personal meaning, as it replicates a smiley tattoo I have on my wrist, symbolising a key part of my identity and outlook on life.
The chosen colour palette features olive green, a hue I discovered during my final year of university that resonates deeply with my personality. It reflects qualities I value—calmness, reliability, and trustworthiness—while also lending the logo a natural and professional aesthetic.
