For the University of Westminster Students’ Union, I designed a training booklet for the FANS (Friends of Arriving New Students) program. This booklet served as a comprehensive guide, containing all the essential information needed for the training of FANS members.

To create a memorable and engaging design, I centered my design on the job title "FANS" by incorporating the witty phrase, "I am your biggest FAN." This concept inspired the central illustration on the cover: a stylized fan. To align with the FANS logo, I used a primarily green colour scheme, varying the shades cohesion. To add a playful touch, I included stars in pink, blue, and yellow, which not only complemented the design but also enhanced the overall aesthetic by making the cover feel more complete. The back cover continued this theme, featuring the same star motifs alongside the full Westminster Students’ Union logo.

While the cover was vibrant and engaging, the inside of the booklet was designed with clarity and simplicity in mind. The layout was kept straightforward to ensure that the information was easy to read and understand. Key pages included tables and spaces for trainees to jot down answers during their sessions.

The final product was well-received by both the staff and the newly recruited FANS members. They appreciated the booklet’s inviting cover design, and the interior layout made it easy for them to navigate and find the necessary information.
